Overview
Just 25 km from downtown Kusar, Shahdag’s Mountain resort is one of the most beautiful regions of Azerbaijan.
During the winter season, there will be 19 ski slopes available for skiers of all levels. A professional ski school and a ski hire shop will offer a wide range of ski equipment and advice to cater to guests’ every need.
In the warmer summer months, the mountain will come alive with activities such as Mountain Biking, Trotinettes, Zip lining, Horse riding, Quad biking, Paintballing, and Bob Karts. Younger children will also be catered for with a children’s club and a bouncy castle as well as other activities.
The next point during the excursion will be Krasnaya Sloboda (The Red Village), located in the town of Guba and which is one of the rare places of compact residence of Jews in Azerbaijan, therefore this settlement is also called Jerusalem of the Caucasus. Mountain Jews have maintained their traditions over the centuries and there are several synagogues, a museum, a cemetery, and the Jewish Star of David on residential buildings.
After Guba city, our professional team will take you to the beautiful Mestergah waterfall. The road to the waterfall lies through the Gechresh forest, where sunshine barely comes through, and the restaurants in this forest never turn off electric lamps.
